60 artists representing California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas are participating in a four venue exhibition on August 5th in Albuquerque, NM. The exhibition is organized by Texas native Rigoberto Luna, California native Ricardo Islas and New Mexico native Vicente Telles. The exhibition will be featuring 20 artists from New Mexico amongst the 60 artists in New Mexico. The project aims to bridge art communities, create awareness of new voices, foster communication, increase opportunities, and expand our understanding socially, culturally, and historically between artists across state borders.
The other three venues are Exhibit/208, Tortuga Gallery, and the South Broadway Cultural Center. Up until the end of August.
